SPC chair raised concerns with DoI over Liverpool plans
The infrastructure minister says he suspects there is a connection between the Covid Steam Packet inquiry and a critical letter he received from the company.
SPC chairman Lars Ugland raised concerns about the design and construction of aspects of the work on the £38 million Liverpool Ferry Terminal.
He hit back at claims Tim Baker made in Tynwald that the design of the new Manxman ferry was part of the reason for the increased cost of the project.
Mr Baker told Manx Radio he believes other recent issues have prompted the letter:
Police investigating graffiti targeting Doug Barrowman and Michelle MoneĀ
How to bring Mooir Vannin power into Manx grid 'yet to be agreed'
Surge in interest from off-Island in Manx properties, says agent
New scam targeting vulnerable people with fall alarms in their homes
