Route remained closed overnight due to snow and sleet
Driving conditions on the Beinney Phott Road will be reviewed later this morning.
Police took the decision to keep the route shut overnight after heavy sleet and snow yesterday.
The road is still closed from its junction with Brandywell Cottage and the Mountain Road, but the situation is due to be reviewed after 9am.
The Mountain Road remains open, but police say temperatures there are below freezing and there are some icy patches.
Motorists are advised to take extra care.
