Poultry breeders warning of shortage of Christmas turkeys
Poultry owners on the Isle of Man are being ‘strongly advised’ to consider their biosecurity due to the threat of a further wave of bird flu.
Government’s chief vet has told Manx Radio she’s ‘very concerned’ about the risk of the disease.
Despite a lull in cases reported on Island parts of the UK have seen a sharp rise in deaths – some poultry breeders are also warning of a possible shortage of Christmas turkeys.
