 
                                    Nothing to do with derailed carriage, says boss
Current problems on the Island's steam railway have nothing to do with the derailment of a train on Friday.
A number of services since have been cancelled and delayed, with little or no information given out to passengers at the time.
Some were substituted with replacement bus services.
Director of Public Transport Ian Longworth has today said the issues are down to boiler failures, which are awaiting repair and certification.
He was approached for comment, but declined to elaborate further.
