Breast cancer targets being met for first time in 18 months

Referrals now being seen within 14 days

People with breast cancer symptoms on the Isle of Man are now being seen within two weeks of referral.

Manx Care says it's meeting its targets for the first time in over 18 months after waiting times for some patients exceeded nine weeks.

Extra clinics have helped reduce the waiting list backlog and 29 women were sent to the UK for consultation, and treatment, at a private hospital.
