Hopes for good turnout to kickstart 2019
It's back to business for Beach Buddies today (Sun 6th).
The beach cleaning charity traditionally starts the new year with an event at Ballaugh and there was a record turn-out in 2018.
Organiser Bill Dale says he's hoping for a good turnout today to kick-start 2019 and all are welcome, including children and well-behaved dogs, with no need to register in advance.
As always, all necessary kit will be provided and rubbish collected will be recycled wherever possible.
Bill says whilst the cleaning events take place usually on Sunday mornings, the group is happy to organise for any day of the week for schools, companies or social groups.
