Burglary accused remanded in custody

Also facing charges of assaulting PC

A man will appear in court again next month over allegations he carried out a burglary and assaulted police.

Twenty-year-old Connor John Lewis, of Albany Road in Peel, appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse via a videolink from the Isle of Man Prison.

He hasn’t entered pleas to three charges of assaulting a police officer and one of aggravated burglary on 13 February.

Magistrates remanded him in custody and he’s next due in court on 25 March.
