Centres around annual TT leave
Island bus drivers are ‘working to rule’ this evening (Monday) for the second time in less than a month.
It had been hoped a dispute over holiday cover could be resolved, but a meeting between Department of Infrastructure officials and union representatives earlier today ended without agreement.
It means drivers will now only fulfil their contracted hours, and refuse to work overtime.
Industrial action will continue all week, although more negotiations are due to be held on Wednesday morning.
Annual leave for TT is at the centre of the dispute.
