Call for airlines who may want to service the Isle of Man

DoI starts process to 'explore the market'

Airlines who are interested in flying between the Isle of Man and London and the North West of England are being sought.

The Department of Infrastructure says it wants to ‘explore the market’ with companies which could operate regular, scheduled services.

It’s started a procurement exercise to identify ‘suitably capable and experienced airlines’.

For London the DoI is asking for information about their current slots at Heathrow, City and Gatwick as well as proposals for other airports in the region with direct rail connections to central London.

In the North West the department wants details about airlines which could serve the region in the early morning, and late evening, to support business activity and patients.
