MLP and Mec Vannin join forces
There are calls for Treasury to properly engage with the public before it embarks on a major review of health services.
The Manx Labour Party and Mec Vannin have joined forces to put pressure on minister Alfred Cannan, before a year-long review into funding is launched.
Mr Cannan promised to consult with residents when the plans were touted in January.
Concerns have since been raised about what the review could entail, and Treasury has refused to rule out options including privatisation.
David Cretney of the Manx Labour Party says that's a concern:
Plan for future of Hospice to be brought forward 'during this administration'
Online gambling sector subject to more 'rigorous scrutiny' than ever before
Plans to create a 'people's mandate' for prospective election candidates
Open Farm event inspires next generation of Manx farmers
