Campaigner calls for further education on menstruation

She argues eco-friendly menstrual products should also be considered

Hannah Grove, a campaigner for 'Love Life', is hoping to raise awareness of period poverty and the challenges facing women globally, as well as in the Isle of Man.

Speaking today on the Mannin Line, Mrs Grove insisted there are shortcomings in the way the subject of menstruation is taught - especially to men:

Mrs Grove will soon be operating stalls displaying eco-friendly menstrual products around Douglas.

The 'Period Pop-Up' programme, starting in the Strand Centre on 7 of March, will give women the chance to explore different options.
