Marinda Fargher will remain on board of local authority
The chair of Garff Commissioners has resigned from her post.
Marinda Fargher, who was elected earlier this year, has stepped down due to personal circumstances.
After being absent for several meetings, Mrs Fargher says she feels the board 'needs continuity' - she will remain a Garff commissioner, though.
A new chair will be chosen by board at its next meeting, on 18 September.
Jamie Smith is the current vice-chairman.
