Former roads policing head reacts to road safety strategy
The former head of the Island's Roads Policing Unit believes change is necessary to implement the Government's road safety strategy.
The initiative is aiming to cut the number of fatalities and serious injuries on Manx roads.
Derek Flint, who is now President of the Isle of Man Institute of Advanced Motorists, believes it's a good aspiration.
Speaking on today's Talking Heads, he stressed that a culture change is required to make this a reality:
Joint investigation launched following Prospect data breach
ManxSPCA invite donations for Christmas day
Ultrasound machine for chemotherapy unit 'will make a huge difference'
RPU will be 'out in force' to stop drink and drug drivers
