Charity ready to install more public defibrillators

Football match raises funds for foundation's work

A charity working to reduce the threat of cardiac illnesses on the Isle of Man has 10 more public defibrillators ready to install.

Craig's Heartstrong Foundation was set up in memory of local footballer Craig Lunt, who died from an undiagnosed heart condition at the age of 25.

Recently-formed club side FC Isle of Man played a charity match against an Isle of Man FA side to raise funds for the charity, taking a 4-2 victory at The Bowl in Douglas last night.

Chairman of the foundation Paul Healey says the organisation has been working to ensure the life-saving equipment is available Island-wide:
