Believed to be a main concern among UK staff
The introduction by the Co-op of a ground-breaking new compassionate leave policy for its 57,000 UK employees, has been broadly welcomed by bereavement charity, Cruse Isle of Man.
The company is allowing employees up to ten days paid leave at any time, regardless of their relationship with the deceased.
The move follows a study which found bereavement leave to be a top concern among UK workers.
