End of Hate Crime Awareness Week
Police on the Isle of Man are 'desperate' to get new legislation in order to better protect people against hate crimes.
That's according to the chief inspector – this week the constabulary has been marking Hate Crime Awareness Week which finishes today (16 October).
Officers are trying to improve the way they record crimes and hope that will help lead to the introduction of specific legislation for hate offences.
