The Chief Minster has spent Saturday (6 Apr) onboard a warship.

To mark the 70th anniversary of NATO, Howard Quayle was welcomed onto the HMS Albion, the Royal Navy's amphibious assault ship.

The vessel was in Manx waters last week as the alliance launched their Exercise Joint Warrior.

It was claimed by the Mannin Branch of the Celtic League, that the military operation was going to use part of the Island for a simulation, but the seabourne assault was called off.
