Treasury apologises following system fault
Child benefit payments due today have been delayed due to a technical issue.
The social security team says a total of 781 weekly transactions were affected, with payments now expected to reach bank accounts tomorrow.
The Treasury has apologised for any inconvenience caused by the delay, saying the issue has now been resolved.
