Child bereavement heroes up for awards

Ceremony takes place in Bransford tonight

Two Manx residents have been nominated for courage in supporting parents through baby loss.

Mortuary manager at Noble's Hospital Ian Hughes is up for a UK Butterfly Award in the 'Bereavement Worker' category. 

Victoria Kissack set up Tabitha's Trust charity to support others after the loss of her daughter - she's shortlisted in the 'Committed Baby Loss Volunteer' category.

She's since lost another daughter Martha, and attributes all acclaim from her work in the area to her girls.
