A recommendation to close the Southern Swimming Pool shows a "complete lack of vision", according to a former chief minister.
A letter sent to pool staff - that was leaked to Manx Radio - highlighted plans to close the facility permanently.
The move's said to be based on financial grounds, and Tynwald members will get the final say when it's presented next month.
