King William’s College is celebrating after almost half of its GCSE results scored top grades.
The school in Castletown says 46 per cent of its grades at GCSE were A or A-star, with more than one in six students scoring straight As.
Its students managed to post A to C grades in 91 per cent of their exams.
Principal Martin Humphreys says the good results are down to the hard work of both teachers and students.
