Driver taken to hospital
The scene of a road accident in the south of the Island is now clear.
One man was taken to hospital after the one vehicle collision just by Ballakaighan Corner on the Castletown by-pass road this morning (Monday).
It happened about 7.30am when fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene and had to rescue the driver using cutting equipment.
A local farmer reported the incident after he discovered the car on its side.
