Manx LGBT group wants 'Alan Turing law'
Common sense would 'prevail' over any opposition to a gay pardon law - according to a Manx LGBT rights group.
The Manx Rainbow Association is campaigning for the so-called 'Alan Turing law' to be introduced here.
It would see any gay men prosecuted before the law was changed in 1992 vindicated by law.
The UK Government has committed to rolling out the legislative changes under historical gross indecency laws "in due course".
Homosexuality was decriminalised there in 1967 - 25 years before the Isle of Man followed suit.
