Officers to stay on scene until disposal teams arrive on-Island
A cordon has been put in place after what's suspected to be 'unexploded ordnance' was found in a garden in Ramsey.
Road closures were put in place around Bowring Road yesterday afternoon after the device was found.
Police say the initial cordon has been reduced following advice from specialist offers in the UK.
It will stay in place until those officers are able to travel to the Island to dispose of the device
The Isle of Man Constabulary says there is no risk to members of the public in the area, but officers will maintain a safety cordon in the meantime.
