Treasury minister says "we're in this for the long haul"
Government will continue to look at ways it can support people during the current cost of living crisis.
Support measures have been announced designed to ease the pressure on people, and businesses, during the winter months.
They include capping electricity prices, introducing a £2 cap on bus fares and providing a third round of payments for those on low incomes and receiving child benefit.
