Ramsey man facing charges
A Ramsey man has appeared in court accused of goading his rottweiller in a dispute with two other men.
Robert William James Houghton of College Street is also alleged to have used a wooden baseball bat in the altercation outside his home earlier this month.
The 39 year-old denied one charge of affray and one of possessing an offensive weapon when he went before Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes.
He's been bailed in his own recognisance to the sum of £500 and the case has been adjourned until 14 November.
