Citywing liquidation sees loss of Belfast route

A local road racer is worried about how the liquidation of Citywing is going to affect people from Northern Ireland trying to get to and from the TT.

Conor Cummins thinks it will hit riders and their families, as well as fans.

The Isle of Man-based ticket seller confirmed last night it was going out of business, after the company it sourced aircraft from, Van Air, had its operating licence suspended towards the end of last month.

He and his fiance are also affected personally, as they're due to get married in Northern Ireland in November, with many family members and friends set to travel over with them.
