Custody for bail breach accused

Union Mills man had nowhere to live

A 42 year-old man has been sent to prison for a week until he can find somewhere to live.

Lee Crawley of Union Mills, who is charged with possessing an offensive weapon, was arrested for breaching his bail conditions.

He’s been remanded in custody for seven days after a former landlord refused to offer him accommodation.

The defendant will appear in court again on August 8.
