
A meeting in Ramsey last night saw an audience of 150 people gather to discuss the future of the town’s Crown Post Office.
Those at the meeting voted unanimously to call for an extra month’s delay to any decision by Post Office bosses on closing the facility and moving services to a nearby Spar shop.
Two petitions collected in Douglas and Ramsey containing a total of almost 4,000 signatures was presented to Policy and Reform Minister Chris Robertshaw MHK.
