Personal information being redacted from second part of probe
The education minister has told Manx Radio she doesn’t know when the second part of a report looking at how sex education is taught in Island schools will be released.
Julie Edge’s department published a one-page ‘executive summary’ of the investigation into how the curriculum was being taught at QEII High School on Tuesday.
She says personal information has to be redacted from the report before the public can read it in full.
The summary highlights needs for improved communication, specialist teachers, and a different organisational structure – but states the contents of the curriculum are age appropriate.
Julie Edge spoke to Lewis Foster:
You can find the executive summary HERE.
