Owners of JC's say they've been left worn out
A bar in Douglas is closing, saying increasing costs, politics and red tape have left the owners worn out.
JC's Bar took over the former Da Vinci's site on North Quay at the end of 2019.
Owners Bryony and Corwyn say the cost of living crisis meant running the bar went up 23%, whilst customer numbers fell by around 40%.
In a Facebook post thanking customers for their support, the owners say staffing the bar and kitchen is "a real issue on the Island".
The bar will be closed from Monday 28 August.
