Douglas council to refurbish estate

Over 300 homes, on the Willaston Estate in Douglas, are to be refurbished.

Douglas Council says "it's completely committed to the work on one of the largest estates on the Island".

The five-years of work will be on 343 houses in the estate.

The cost will be £10m. Work could start in October.

Thirty-six properties have already had work done on them.
