Local residents have reacted angrily after silt was spilled on a road in Peel.
A number of complaints have been made amid fears the spillage could be contaminated.
Dredging work on Peel harbour started this morning despite many believing the Department of Infrastructure had to give 21 days notice before any action could be taken.
But Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne insists his department is doing nothing wrong:
DoI facing 'huge problem' over Peel Marina silt
No injuries in light aircraft accident at Ronaldsway
DoI to move to monthly dredging in order to protect harbour depth
