EasyJet considering resuming Liverpool and Gatwick routes

Services to include three flights per week on both routes despite border closure

EasyJet is said to be considering three flights per week on both its Liverpool and London Gatwick routes, should its services resume in mid-June.

The airline said last week it would restart flights to and from the Island, despite the borders remaining closed.

The update was given by Chief Minister Howard Quayle at this afternoon's virtual sitting of Tynwald:

Onchan MHK Julie Edge told Mr Quayle that Island residents are concerned EasyJet will be able to withhold refunds on flights that are no longer technically cancelled:
