IoM one of 19 planned Heathrow destinations
The Isle of Man has been identified as one of 19 new destinations for budget airline easyJet, following the building of a third runway at Heathrow.
The carrier wants to run up to 55,000 flights a year from the airport once the controversial project is completed.
Boss Carolyn McCall says new routes to Ronaldsway, as well as Jersey and other European destinations, would offer more frequent services and greater competition.
EasyJet currently operates flights to Liverpool, Bristol and London Gatwick from Ronaldsway - but an investigation last month by passenger rights group TravelWatch found that just 1 in 5 flights to Gatwick arrive on time.
