Members of the union considering increased offer
The education department is still in contact with the NASUWT as industrial action continues on the Island.
Education Minister Julie Edge confirmed talks are in place with the unions with regard to the latest offer from her department.
Recently, the union escalated actions short of strike - which resulted in some high schools asking year groups to work from home as they didn't have enough staff to safely manage break times.
Ms Edge told Manx Radio the Independent School Teachers Review body published an increased offer for teachers from five percent:
No increase in domestic gas prices for rest of 2026
Law targeting sale of nicotine pouches takes step further
Procurement process for Kirk Onchan Post Office continuing
Bus station will not be moved to the Sea Terminal
