Electoral register deadline tomorrow

Citizens must keep records updated

You have until tomorrow (Sun 18) to respond to the 2018 update of the Island's electoral register, if you haven't done so already.

More than 23,000 households had done so by the end of February, but a further 20,000 reminders were sent to submit the required information to the annual survey.

Citizens are legally required to keep their records up to date, even if a household's information remains unchanged.

Confirmation can be provided online, via telephone, by text, or on a paper form returned to the Electoral Registration Office - although paperless methods are strongly encouraged where possible.

For further information or with queries on tomorrow's deadline (Sun 18 Mar), call 685754, email elections@gov.im or go to the government website.
