That’s how the Chief Minister has described the work of Eddie Lowey after he called time on his political career.
The former MHK and MLC officially stepped down on Thursday after 38 years as a Member of Tynwald.
Colleagues presented him with a clock, set in a piece of wood and engraved with the final words he spoke in Tynwald, borrowed from national poet TE Brown.
