Exam board urged 'not to ruin future' of Island's young people

Education minister calls for Cambridge International to upgrade Manx students

The Island's education minister is urging an exam board to upgrade Manx students grades this week.

In a post on social media, Dr Alex Allinson confirmed he's written to Cambridge Assessment International Education following concerns over last week's IGCSE results.

The minister says the only fair solution is for all Isle of Man students to be given their Centre Assessed Grades.

He's urging the body to take action this week to avoid ruining the future of the Island's young people.
