Government offers £125k towards next year of service
The Family Library says it looks forward to working with Treasury to define a plan to keep services running.
Government announced last week it would be providing £125,000 to help fund the mobile library service for another 12 months.
This is subject to receiving an appropriate business case.
In response the Family Library says it looks forward to 'exploring and justifying' the position as a 'collaborative exercise'.
It also says it welcomes public consultation as it believes it has 'strong support'.
