Bringing parents and teachers together
A scheme aiming to bring parents and teachers together has been rolled out to four primary schools in the Island.
Ashley Hill, Henry Bloom Noble, Anagh Coar and Jurby are all involved in this year's Families and Schools Together programme, known as FAST.
It looks to forge stronger links between groups in the wider community and benefit schoolchildren.
Julie Slater is a FAST trainer, who was involved in initial sessions held at Willaston School in 2015.
She says the programme can make a real difference:
Main road between Peel and Douglas to shut for tree felling
'Targeted and intelligence led approach' to protect Island's borders during Irish sailings
Airport Director role advertised with top salary of £120,000
Traders on Michael Street feel 'abandoned' by politicians in tough times
