Infrastructure Minister provides update at this month's sitting
Tynwald will be asked to give the go-ahead to the construction of the new ferry terminal in Liverpool before the summer recess.
Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer confirmed he intends to bring the motion to the July sitting.
The proposals, which are expected to cost in excess of £30m, were given planning permission last month, but Tynwald approval for the funding is still needed before works can get underway.
Mr Harmer provided the update on the project at this month's sitting:
New Year Honours for six Isle of Man residents
Island enjoyed 'reasonable' summer despite no record-breaking temperatures
Head of Ambulance Service 'really privileged' to receive New Year Honour
Chief Fire Officer 'overwhelmed' after receiving New Year Honour
