Police hope message is getting through
Police say the first night of their festive anti drink-driving campaign has passed without anyone ending up in the cells.
Patrols have been stepped up from Friday, and will continue until after the Christmas and New Year period.
Over the same period last year, 23 people were arrested, a rise of nine on the previous year.
The post on Twitter, which has come via the Tweetbeat feed, says hopefully this shows the 'Drink Safe Isle of Man' message is working.
