Road conditions in the vicinity remain icy

Flights are beginning to resume at Ronaldsway Airport after it was shut this morning due to 'dark ice'.

On social media, a statement reads that some disruption may still occur however, passengers are urged to check directly with their airline for the most up-to-date flight information.

Road conditions around the airport remain icy, and motorists are advised to allow extra time ahead when driving. 

A yellow weather warning is in place for ice and wintry showers remains in place until midday on Monday.
