Flybe to use Stobart for 'first wave' flights

Flybe says its deal with Stobart Air aims to improve its performance on morning departures from the Isle of Man to north-west England.

The deal will see Stobart base two, 72-seat ATR aircraft at Ronaldsway, branded and liveried as Flybe, from 25 October.

They'll take on all flying on the Stansted route on Flybe's behalf, and the 'first wave', or early morning departures, to Liverpool and Manchester.

The Stobart aircraft have slightly fewer seats than Flybe's Q400 planes but the airline says passengers will notice little difference.
