Poet's new book reflects on experiences working with homeless community
The eighth Manx Bard believes people want a 'more hopeful version of what the world could be'.
Michael Manning has recently published a collection of poems drawing on his experience working with the Island's homeless community.
He says public opinion can often be dominated by anger, hatred and despair.
But, he's in favour of a more optimistic approach:
Sitting MHK no longer seeking re-election in September
Onchan residents brand offshore windfarm ‘travesty’ and ‘nothing but negative’
MHK 'frustrated' at pace of progress over cigarettes and vaping products
Island residents in favour of social media ban for under 16s
