Rubber bullets and tear gas used on protestors
A former Manx resident insists he feels safe in Hong Kong despite ongoing protests in the region.
Thousands gathered outside the government's offices there earlier today, protesting against proposals that would allow fugitives to be extradited to China.
Reports suggest police have been using rubber bullets, tear gas and pepper spray to disperse the crowds.
However, Equiom Hong Kong managing director James Russell says those with friends and family out there don't need to worry:
Island's finances 'in a better position than most other jurisdictions'
Completion of assisted dying bill 'the most significant moment of 2025'
Keep dogs away from Garwick Beach for next few days
Cost of sending a letter on the Island to increase in January
