TT legend John McGuinness condemns criminal damage
Police in the UK are investigating after French TT fans had their bikes vandalised on the way back from this year's races.
Fifteen bikes, parked outside the Kings Arms Hotel in Morecambe, had their tyres slashed or punctured between 9 and 10 June.
It's reported the bikers had stopped off in the town before travelling to Portsmouth to get the ferry back to France.
23-time TT winner John McGuinness, who hails from Morecambe, has taken to social media to condemn the actions of those responsible for the criminal damage.
He says he's 'embarrassed' for his hometown.
Stuff like this wouldn’t happen if these types of criminals had there hands cut off! Job done, simple! I’m embarrassed for Morecambe 😢 https://t.co/rhdmZuLeup
