Hewison criticises advice given by AG's chambers
A newly elected Garff MHK says she and her fellow candidates were put in a very difficult position by advice on the offshore windfarm project.
In the run up to the General Election the Attorney General's Chambers advised those standing that if they spoke about the Mooir Vannin proposals it could create a conflict of interest during future decision-making process.
Vicki Hewison was elected alongside Richard Henthorn - both have been critical of that advice.
Speaking to Manx Radio Vicki said she'd like to use her time in the House of Keys to improve transparency and trust in government.
Citing the Mooir Vannin process as an example of where she believes trust has been lost, she explained how it also created challenges on the campaign trail:
