Chairman of the Council of Ministers International Development Committee Phil Gawne says he hopes Tynwald will back calls to put an end to world hunger.
Later this month, he’ll ask the court to back a motion praising the UK’s efforts to highlight the problem at a G8 summit later this month.
Mr Gawne says it’s an issue he’s keenly aware of and which deserves extra attention from the developed world.
But he says it remains a massive problem:
No impact assessment carried out ahead of minimum wage decision
Douglas Coastguard aid overnight medical transfer
Treasury 'still negotiating' backup options for MiCard users with no bank account
Yellow weather warning issued for ice
